Stayed at a historic building with a lovely patio and free WiFi. Felt like I was in a time machine! Explored Camera Obscura and Illusions just a short distance away. Had a great time using the washing machine and cooking on the stovetop. Golfing in the area was quite the experience!
Such a shame the place lacked a giant disco ball in the living room. Would've really completed the historical vibe.

The WiFi and cable were excellent. The apartment had comfortable beds and a sofa sleeper, and the overall sleeping arrangement worked well for our group of four. The towels and linens were clean and of good quality. The flat was spacious and could easily accommodate six guests. The smart TV was a great addition. The proximity to the city center and attractions like Edinburgh Castle was fantastic. There were plenty of shops and places to eat nearby. The cafe across the street was amazing! The apartment felt like a cozy home, not a sterile hotel. There were plenty of games and bedding available. It was great that pets were allowed, and it was a smoke-free environment. our stay was fantastic, and Claire's excellent communication made it even better. The apartment was spacious and could comfortably accommodate a group of six guests. The smart TV provided entertainment options for everyone. The location was excellent, with easy access to the city center and all the attractions, including the famous Edinburgh Castle. Additionally, the apartment was conveniently located near the Haymarket train station, making it easy to travel around.
The design of the windows in the flat. The wooden shutters did not completely close when the windows were open, which could be a problem for privacy or noise control.
